2023年10月22日（日）、WAM DE CAFEで松井やよりさんを語ってきました。※English is below.
松井さんがお亡くなりになってからもう20年も経つとは月日の経つのは早いものです。JFCネットワークは松井やよりさんのネームバリューで団体の活動を維持してきたと言っても過言ではなかったのですが、松井さんと失ってからはより着実にケースを受け法的支援を軸としたケース対応の実績を積み上げる方向へと活動体制を変えました。
愛と怒りとたたかう勇気。松井さんが教えてくれたこの言葉が好きです。女性のエンパワーメントに必要なのは権力者に立ち向かうために感性・知性・行動力を持つこと。
・感性→他人の痛みを自分の痛みと感じることのできる感性、つまり共感する能力。
・知性→人々が苦しみや痛みを持つ原因となっているものを理解する知の力。貧困や差別や暴力などの構造を調査し、研究し、分析し、個人の問題から社会の問題としてとらえること。
・行動→日本の女性は勉強熱心だが学んだことを墓場まで持っていくなら何のための学びだったのか。学びを生かして行動することが大切。
Cafeに話を聞きに来てくださった皆様、ありがとうございました。Cafeが終わった後にスタッフの方々と軽食を取りながら懇親会をし、とても有意義な時間を過ごしました。楽しかったです。また皆様とお会いして話ができる日を楽しみにしています。
I had a talk about Ms. Yayori Matsui at WAM DE CAFE on October 22, 2023 (Sunday). It is not too much to say that JFC Network has maintained its activities with the name value of Ms. Yayori Matsui, but after the loss of Ms. Matsui, JFC Network has changed its activities in the direction of steadily receiving more cases and building a successful track record in handling cases with a focus on legal support.
Love, anger, and the courage to fight. I like these words that Ms. Matsui taught me. What is necessary for women’s empowerment is to have sensitivity, intelligence, and the ability to take action in order to stand up to those in power.
Sensitivity: The ability to feel other people’s pain as one’s own, in other words, the ability to empathize.
Intelligence: The ability to understand what causes people to suffer and have pain. The ability to investigate, study, and analyze structures such as poverty, discrimination, and violence, and to see them as social problems rather than individual problems.
Action: Japanese women are eager to learn, but if they take what they have learned to their graves, what was the purpose of the learning? It is important to make the most of what we have learned and take action.
Thank you very much to everyone who came to the Cafe, and after the Cafe, we had a very meaningful time with the staff over a light meal and a get-together. It was a lot of fun. I look forward to meeting and talking with you all again.
