2024年2月16日、マリガヤハウスのオンライン基本オリエンテーションを実施し、4人の母親と3人のJFCの計5人が参加しました。※English is below.

このうち4人は、日本国籍を喪失したケースでした。両親はフィリピンで結婚しており、その後に子どもがフィリピンで生まれましたが、出生後3か月に子どもの出生届をフィリピンの日本大使館または領事館に届出しなかったために、子どもは日本国籍を失ってしまったケースになります。日本国籍を失なった子どもたちが日本国籍を再度取得するためには、１８歳になる前に日本へ行き届出をする必要があります。

1件は、認知、養育費、日本国籍取得を求めるものでした。

もう1件は、成人したJFCが日本人の父に対して認知を求めるものでした。

マリガヤハウスでは、毎月1回、オンラインの基本オリエンテーションを開催しています。ケースを受け付けるためにはオリエンテーションの参加が必須です。

現在、多くの人たちがオリエンテーションの参加を待っています。優先順位の高い人は優先的に受け付けますので、特に日本人の父親が死亡したケース、子どもの年齢が16－17歳、その他緊急だと思われる場合は、問い合わせ時にその旨をお伝えください。

On February 16, 2024, Maligaya House conducted an online basic orientation which was attended by a total of five (5) participants, four (4) mothers and three (3) JFCs.
Four of them were cases of loss of Japanese nationality. In these cases, the parents were married in the Philippines and the children were afterward born in the Philippines, but the children lost their Japanese nationality because they did not report the birth of their children to the Japanese embassy or consulate in the Philippines within three months after the birth. In order to obtain Japanese nationality again, children who have lost their nationality must go to Japan and submit necessary documents before they turn 18 years old.

One case involved a request for recognition, child support, and acquisition of Japanese nationality.

The other case involved an adult JFC seeking recognition from his Japanese father.

Maligaya House conducts an online basic orientation once a month. Attendance at the orientation is required in order to accept the case.

Currently, many people are waiting to attend the orientation. Priority will be given to those with high priority, so please let them know at the time of inquiry, especially if the case is a Japanese father who has died, the child is 16-17 years old, or if you think the case is otherwise urgent.
