2024年3月12日、マリガヤハウスのオンライン基本オリエンテーションを実施し、JFC2名、母親3名が参加しました。(※English is below.)
今回の参加者の中に、ビサヤ諸島に暮らす母親がいました。3人のJFCがいて、日本人の父親に対して認知請求をしたいと希望をしています。
3人の子どもたちは自分の父親に認知して欲しいという希望を持っています。子どもたちの母親によると、父親は子どもたちに必要な生活や教育をサポートしており、子どもたちを認知することにも前向きであるそうですが、日本の家族に知られないことを条件としているとのことでした。しかし、オリエンテーションに出席後、認知請求の手続きを理解した母親は、まず3人の子どもたちと日本人の父親と話し合ってから結論を出すことを決めたそうです。

On March 12, 2024, we conducted an online basic orientation at Maligaya House, attended by 2 JFCs and 3 mothers.
Among the participants was a mother living in the Visayas Islands who has three JFCs and wishes to file a claim for recognition against their Japanese father.
The three children wish to be recognized by their own father. According to the children’s mother, the father supports the children’s needs in life and education and is willing to recognize them, but only on the condition that his family in Japan does not know about it. However, after attending an orientation meeting and understanding the procedure for claiming for recognition, the mother decided to first discuss the matter with the three children and the Japanese father before making a decision.
