マリガヤハウスは、JFC(Japanese-Filipino Children)への法的支援を実施しているNPO法人です。

法的支援とは以下になります。：
* 日本人父親（母親）の所在確認
*日本人の父に対する （死後）認知請求
* 養育費請求
* 日本国籍取得の届出
*日本国籍の再取得
*日本のパスポート申請
*遺産相続
*フィリピンで成立したJFCの両親の婚姻を日本へ届出
＊その他の法的問題の解消（離婚、親権者指定、無国籍の解消、日本国籍の確認）

※最近、日本人の父親への死後認知請求が増えています。日本の法律では死後3年が提訴期限です。しかし、相談にいた時点ですでに日本人の父が亡くなって3年過ぎているケースも多く、JFCネットワークでは、死後3年経ったケースでも父子関係を証明する証拠が十分にあるケースにおいては相談に乗っていますので、ご相談下さい。

On September 11, 2025, Maligaya House conducted an online basic orientation session.

Maligaya House is an NGO providing legal support to JFC (Japanese-Filipino Children).

Legal support includes the following:
* Confirming the whereabouts of the Japanese father (or mother)
* Filing a paternity recognition claim ( after death) against the Japanese father
* Child support claims
* Filing for Japanese nationality acquisition
* Reacquisition of Japanese nationality
* Japanese passport applications
* Inheritance claims
* Registration in Japan of the marriage of JFC’s parents, which was established in the Philippines
* Resolution of other legal issues (divorce, custody determination, resolution of statelessness, confirmation of Japanese nationality)

※Recently, there has been an increase in the number of cases seeking recognition of paternity after the Japanese father’s death. Under Japanese law, the statute of limitations for filing such a claim is three years after the father’s death. However, many cases presented for consultation involve situations where more than three years have already passed since the Japanese father’s death. The JFC Network provides consultation even in cases where three years have passed since the father’s death, provided there is sufficient evidence to prove the father-child relationship.
