JFC母子6件が参加しました。それぞれの出身地はネグロス島、モンタルバン、リサール、ダスマリナス、カビテ、マリキナ、ラスピナス、カビテのバクーアからです。

Six (6) potential cases joined the event. The participants were from Negros Occidental, Montalban, Rizal, Dasmarinas, Cavite, Marikina City, Las Pinas City, and Bacoor, Cavite.

その中に「緊急ケース」として、日本国籍取得のために18歳までに法的な認知が必要な、16歳のJFCがいました。

There was one particular case that we considered as “urgent case” because the JFC is already 16 years old.Since his parents are not married, he needs to get legal recognition to be able to apply for a Japanese nationality before he turns 18 years old.

日本人の父親は、JFCの出生証明書に父子関係に関する宣誓供述書に署名し、JFCが本当に自分の子どもであることを示す証拠となる写真もたくさん持っていました。

しかし、問題は、日本人の父親の日本の住所が分からず、父親の所在を調査できる書類（古いパスポートのコピーや日本の運転免許証など）を持っていないことです。

The Japanese father was able to signed the Affidavit of Acknowledgment of Paternity in the JFC’s birth certificate and they have lots of pictures that can be used as evidence that the JFC is really his child. But the problem is, they don’t have the address of the Japanese father in Japan and they don’t also have supporting documents that may be used to locate him such as old passport copy and driver’s license in Japan.

そこで、JFCは、フィリピンの入国管理局で日本人父親の渡航記録を取得し、日本の弁護士に日本人父親の住所の調査をお願いできるようアドバイスしました。

Thus, the JFC and his guardian were advised to try to secure the travel record of the Japanese father at the Bureau of Immigration so that we can request a lawyer in Japan to inquire about the address of the Japanese father.
