穏やかな陽気の日が続き、桜も一気に咲きそうな気配です。みなさま、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。(※English is below)
Cherry blossoms seem to be blooming all at once as the mild and sunny days continue. How are you all doing?
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation in the activities of JFC Network.
JFC Network held its first face-to-face general meeting in three years on Saturday, March 18. We also held a lunch party, which was attended by 11 people.
The general meeting was attended by 11 people at the venue and 5 people via ZOOM, for a total of 16 people. Interns from the Tokyo office participated and Mr. Takashi Ota, board member of Maligaya House in the Philippines, also attended the meeting.
The agenda included: (1) report on activities in FY2022, (2) financial report for FY2022, (3) activity plan for FY2023, (4) budget for FY2023, (5) amendment to the Articles of Incorporation, and (6) election of board members.
In the latter half of the meeting, there was time for an exchange of opinions with the general meeting participants, who were very active in expressing their opinions. It was a meaningful time, as we received a variety of suggestions on issues such as dual nationality, choice of nationality, JFC’s coming to Japan and working in Japan, and Japanese language lessons for those who come to Japan.
After the loss of Naoko Kono on April 1, 2021, both JFC Network and Maligaya House were in a critical situation, but we were able to receive cooperation and advice from various people to rebuild our organization, and we feel that we are gradually moving forward.
We look forward to your continued support in the future
