2026年3月14日（土）、１年に1度のJFCネットワーク通常総会が開催されました。（※English is below)

普段は、正会員や理事の皆さんが集う機会もなかなかないため、11時からはお食事会を実施して皆さんと歓談しながら食事をしました。新宿御苑前駅近くの福怡軒という中華料理屋さんで食事をしたのですが、ランチ900円で、本格派ボリュームたっぷりの中華料理の他に、サラダ、味卵、水餃子、杏仁豆腐が食べ放題、コーヒー飲み放題なのは驚きました。

通常総会は理事の他、遠方から正会員さんたちも参加して下さり、途中、マニラから現地レポートも入り、1時から3時半の予定が4時過ぎまで話しが尽きませんでした。

決算、予算、活動報告、活動計画いずれも承認され、今年も多くの課題を抱えていますが、多くの人達の知恵とアイデアを結集し、一つひとつの課題に果敢に取り組んで参りたいと思います！

長年省庁交渉のテーマとしてあがっていましたが、話は平行線でまったく進まなかった「離婚届不受理申出」の在外公館での受理の問題。今年は、この問題に対して、一歩、踏み出す予定です。

JFCネットワークが受理したケースで離婚が成立していたケースのうち、フィリピンに妻がいるケースの4件に1件はフィリピン人妻の同意なく勝手に離婚されていました。

こんなに簡単に妻の了解なしに夫から「勝手に離婚されてしまう」という実態はどう考えてもおかしいです。

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the annual JFC Network General Meeting was held.

Since there are rarely opportunities for general members and board members to gather, we held a meal gathering starting at 11:00 a.m. to enjoy a meal and casual conversation with everyone. We ate at a Chinese restaurant called Fukui-ken near Shinjuku-Gyoenmae Station. We were surprised to find that for a lunch price of 900 yen, in addition to plentiful, traditional Chinese dishes, we had all-you-can-eat salad, flavored eggs, water dumplings, and almond jelly, as well as all-you-can-drink coffee.

In addition to the board members, general members traveled from far away to attend the General Meeting. We even received a live report from Manila during the session. Although the meeting was scheduled from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, the discussion continued until past 4:00 PM as we simply couldn’t run out of things to talk about.

The financial reports, annual budget, activity reports, and activity plans were all approved. While we face many challenges this year, we intend to pool the knowledge and ideas of many people and tackle each challenge head-on!

The issue of accepting “Notifications of Non-Acceptance of Divorce Reports” at overseas embassies—a long-standing topic of negotiation with government ministries—had previously reached an impasse with no progress. This year, we plan to take a step forward on this issue.

Among the cases where the JFC Network processed divorce filings that were ultimately finalized, one in four cases involving a wife in the Philippines resulted in a divorce being granted without the Filipino wife’s consent.

The reality that a husband can so easily “divorce his wife without her consent” is, by any measure, unacceptable.
